Quick Sweet 16 - Battery Powered, 30 size Helicopter
Our Quick Sweet 16 - Battery Powered Helicopter
(This is our Sweet 16 prior to us painting the front canopy & adding navigation lights)

    The Quick Sweet 16 is an electrically operated helicopter intended primarily for outdoor use. It is approximately the same size as a 30 class gas/nitro helicopter (4 1/2 feet long). When equipped with Lithium-Polymer batteries, the helicopter can be flown for approximately 35-40 minutes. It has full collective pitch blades and can handle 3D flight maneuvers.

Our Quick 16 Helicopter is equipped with the following:

JR All-Digital Servo's

JR NER649 Digital PCM Receiver

Futaba GY401 Digital Gyro System

550 MM Carbon-Fiber Nite Blades

Cost to assemble & fly using stock parts - Approx. $1500.00 - $1900.00
Our Sweet 16 when fully equipped with accessories - Approx. $4500.00
Our Quick Sweet 16 uses the
Futaba #401 Digital Gyro

The helicopter is also fully equipped for night flying. It has 5
(Multi-colored LED) Navigational lights, 2 battery powered,
8" blue luminescent strips mounted to the landing skids, and
carbon-fiber main rotor blades with built in high visibility lights.

Imbedded into each blade is a rechargeable Ni-Cad battery & 2 color,
high power LED's. On a full charge, they will last for approx. 1 1/2 hours.

VoltWatch Power Monitoring System

We have installed the VoltWatch Power Monitoring System to give us an indication of remaining battery strength on the Sweet 16's onboard electronics.

We also added a "Watt's-Up"  high voltage/amperage meter so we know how much power is used and remaining. "Watt's-Up" High Power Voltage/Amperage Monitoring System

JR Model XP8103 Digital Transmitter We use the JR Model XP 8103
Digital Transmitter
(helicopter version, shown left)

It is capable of
controlling 10 different
helicopters and/or planes.
The 8 channel unit also has
an advanced , graphic
LCD information screen.
