New Science & Technology Center Coming

The Greater Western Reserve Council and Camp Stigwandish has received notice that Camp Stigwandish has been designated to become a Science & Technology Center by High-Tech Productions.com. This organization, based in Boca Raton, Florida will be donating science, computer, and audio-visual equipment to create the new center at our Camp. The stated goal of High-Tech Productions is:

Our goal is to offer new programs such as computers, electronics, astronomy and other technologies to the youth of America. The young people of today seek challenges and need to have their minds nurtured. By offering a "Science & Technology Center" at a camp environment, kids will have many opportunities to learn new skills, test themselves and have a great time doing it. These programs work hand in hand with the many merit badges already being offered.

We would like to thank Mr. Richard Newman and High-Tech Productions.com and invite you to browse their web site at HighTechScience.org to learn more about this program and what we can expect to see in the near future.
